The second learning, teaching and training activity (LTT) was hosted online by the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg from 21 February to 3 March 2022. The event took place over five separate days, three of which were international, where all participants from Slovenia, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic were present. The other two meetings were national and were held at each university.

The first focus of the second learning, teaching and training activity was media education in practical phases of teacher education. Two guest speakers, Dr Svenja Bedenlier and Dr Melanie Stephan from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg presented a topic on developing media competence in teacher education. The INSHIP team partners from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg presented the preliminary INSHIP model and led a discussion on how to integrate media education into it.

The second focus was the INSHIP curriculum. The INSHIP team partners from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg presented its basic dimensions and examples, which were discussed with all participants.

At the end of the second learning, teaching and training activity, the results of the research ‘Perceived learning offers and outcomes in internship of pre-service teachers’ were presented and discussed.

Overall, the implementation of the second learning, teaching and training activity was successful as we presented and discussed various topics. The discussion gave us the opportunity to elaborate on the topics and share our own experiences and views on teaching practice in relation to media education and the curriculum.
